 It is about Make a Wish Foundation, not SGU, and this could really make a difference in a child’s life

 Really only wanting to reach a goal of one wish, but if

SGU donated $5000, they feel they could easily reach the goal of granting two wishes ($10,000 total) o Call to Question

 Idea came from Jonthan Perrone to team up with Dade City Little League as a campus

 Already involved Athletics (baseball and softball doing coaching clinic) and looking towards SGU and beyond to pitch in

 Really want to reach out between Dade City Little League and Saint Leo University to bridge the gap

 Challenger team plays for free – important for sponsorship

Children with disabilities baseball team

Play on Saturdays

Always looking for people/clubs to play the Challenger team

 $300 to sponsor a team

45 teams currently

 Time is the most important thing that they could receive o Mike moves to allocate $1200 to the Dade City Little League on behalf of all four class committees

Think of the idea of creating a minimum number of Senators to fill seats because there currently is no minimum and Senate could operate with as few members as possible

Freshman class pushing for Busch Gardens trip o State Fair trip a possibility as well

New Business o Minimum Number of Senators

 Currently there is no minimum number of senators; however, in the Constitution the VPO can call for elections at any time if they feel necessary

 If you would like an amendment to the Constitution to be made regarding this, please write up legislation and email it to Corey before the next Senate meeting
