Project Title
Rationale
The Provincial Information Management Office proposes to interlink the
Provincial Government of Agusan Del Sur with the 13 Municipal and City LGU’s
through WAN (Wide Area Network). There is a great demand for network
connectivity because of the replication of RPTIS to the remaining 9 municipalities
making its implementation scaled up to a province-wide coverage.
Through this proposed project, LGUs can immediately post/submit report to
the province without any reasons for delay. Centralization of data recording,
information, planning and M&E for municipal offices will then be improved. The
efficacy of access to provincial information of all Agusan del Sur LGUs (municipal
and city) is anticipated.
The CBMS as one of the project of provincial government in collaboration
with the 14 component LGUs; with the implementation of WAN; aids in
monitoring and immediately delivers appropriate services to Agusanons.
