Holy Communion is the worship highlight today. Communion
highlights God’s incredible grace and mercy towards sinful humans all of us. Guest or regular attendee, you are invited to participate in
this service.
Lorenzo Vaughan publicly announces his forever friendship with
the Lord Jesus through baptism today, and becomes an official
member of our church family. Welcome, Lorenzo
Ministry Coordination Team (MCT) for 2016-2018 comprises of
Vicky Coleman, Virginia Boyd, Joseph Smith, Don Jason, and Steve
Haller. Please keep their task in your prayers.
Serving God in 2016! Besides your service for the Lord outside the
church campus, how would you like to serve God on campus?
Please pray about how you could use your talents in service, and
share your willingness with one of the MCT members. Thank you.
Funeral for Duaine Gibson begins with visitation on Monday, Oct.
5, 6-8 p.m., at the Strawser Funeral Home, 9503 Kenwood Rd.,
Cincinnati. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. in the
funeral home. Thank you for continued prayers for the family.
Mentors needed: Be a role model! Make a difference in a child’s
life! There is need for mentors ages 25 and up. Please contact

Meet Jesus, or, renew your relationship with Jesus through the
Gospel records! The next meeting will be on Wednesday, Oct. 7,
from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Please read John 9 in preparation for
discussion. All are welcome.
Health emphasis: Oct. 17 has been designated as Health
emphasis day. A special program will be the highlight that day.

Honoring our Police and Firefighters: A special service is being
planned for Oct. 24 to honor our police and firefighters. More
information will be forthcoming.

and end at 11:00 a.m. Class options include:
