Management Report - by Jayde Savage
Had several meetings, Jom Makan, Starbucks – should be finished by Easter, Grad
Gift/lawn, internal audit, also had meeting for Corporate Management plan.
Rag Report - by Anie Davis
The Rag conference will be 10-13th September, Tough Guy is Sunday 29.01.12 and there
is currently 51 runners, Choose a challenge will be on 09.02.12, SM is also currently
going through the rag committee’s job description.
Action Report - by Jack Heskett
Smashed project 5000, attending soup kitchen with Bridger, planning sports day, up too
100 children expected, has also trained hall reps.



AU President Report – by David Tingle
AR has been having Healthy living week meetings, the contract for the AU ball has now
been signed, it will be held on 24th May, and has also has 3 days development team
away days with SDC and University staff.
SocFed Report - by Michael Duckworth
Nicholas will be back on Monday 30.01.12
E&E Report – by Pete Childs
Preparing for Fair-trade fortnight, agreed to have presentation at College
Committee T-shirts are being re-done at no extra cost due to poor quality

1) “Better Decisions” Update – Presented by Jack Heskett
JH to update everyone on the “Better Decisions” campaign
Discussions with Evo regarding a Valentines Day event in LSU,
Better Decisions event to be ran on the back of healthy living week
AR can use the money in campaigns budget to help out with healthy living week/better
decisions
ACTION – RB to look at better decisions ideas with JH
2) “Experience the World” Campaign – Presented by Michael Duckworth
MD to update everyone on the “Experience the World” campaign
MD not present, has had meeting with international office
Induction talks for Erasmus students on 15th Feb
3) “Your Education” – Presented by Jayde Savage
JS to update everyone on the “Your Education” Campaign
JS has told Programme Presidents they have a budget of £15 to provide food/snacks for
Programme Reps in meetings as an incentive to attend.
4) College Developments – Presented by Pete Childs
PC to update everyone on developments at the college in the past week.
Has had several meetings with Donna Guest from the College,
Meeting with The Gables on Friday about involving Hall culture.

1) Select Committees – Presented by James Carroll
Should have been in Union Council meetings this year
Idea to assign each Exec member with 3-4 Councillors and have up to 1 hour discussion
