ABBREVIATED TENDER NOTICE
Industrial Training Institute Budgam intends to purchase different machinery equipment,
Trade hand tools, under Public Private Partnership Scheme
Detailed terms & conditions of the tender are mentioned in the Tender document ,which
will be made available to the interested Registered/Reputed Manufacturers/ Authorized
dealers/Suppliers against a payment of Rs 500 /=through bearer Bank Draft in the name of
Principal Industrial Training Institute Budgam from 20-07-2012 to 09-08-2012 during office
working hours at ITI Budgam . The tender document can also be downloaded from our official
Website: - www.itibudgam.org .
The tenders will be received back in the office of the undersigned by or before
09-08-2012 .The tenders will be opened on 11-08-2012 at 10.00a m in presence of Tenderers or
their authorized representatives who wish to be present.

Notice Inviting Tenders
For & on behalf of Institute Management Committee Budgam , sealed tenders duly affixed
with Six Rupees Revenue stamps are invited from the Registered Firms/ Manufacturers & their
Authorized Dealers for supply of Machinery Equipments etc for use in ITI Budgam under “Public
Private Partnership scheme . as per terms & conditions given below. The details of the items are
enclosed in groups viz 1 to 5
The Bidder/ Tenderer shall submit their bids/Tenders in two cover system i,e
a) Cover I will contain “Technical Qualification” & Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as prescribed.
b) Cover II will contain price bids in which Bidder/ Tenderer shall quote their rates for items
which have been advertised.
Terms & conditions:1
Financial bid of those Bidders/Tenderers shall be opened and considered for evaluation
who have qualified in technical bid after opening envelop 1st.

Bidder/Tenderer shall provide the proof of past supply & address along with list of similar
group of products sold & name of the buyers for preceding one year.

Bidder/ Tenderer should mention clearly the maximum possible warranty period of the
tendered item & shall provide free service during the warranty period.,

Bidder/Tenderer shall have to produce Sales Tax/VAT clearance certificate for the
preceding year & Latest income Tax Clearance.

The successful bidder shall have to provide Demonstration of various functions of
equipments where applicable to the identified officials of the Institute at ITI Budgam.

In case Bidder/ Tenderer is not a manufacturer himself, he should submit the original
/Xerox letter from manufacturer/ Distributor/Dealer/authorizing him to quote rates on his
behalf.

Bid/offer of any Sub-standard item will be treated as rejection of the tender as such the
rates of ISO certified items shall be quoted.

Offers shall be supported by relevant literature, pamphlets. Samples will be sought if &
where felt necessary, & same should be kept in state of readiness, so that the same can be
provided to the purchase committee, when asked within a period of seven days.

Rates should be quoted strictly inclusive of all Taxes ( VAT, Entry Tax, Other taxes
,Packing etc). The rates quoted should be F.O.R ITI Budgam.

Each offer/Tender shall be accompanied with a Call Deposit Reciept (CDR) as shown
against each group from any scheduled Bank pledged to principal ITI Budgam J&K. The
same will be returned in case of un-successful tenderers. No cheque /Bank draft will be
accepted in lieu of CDR. The condition shall in no case be waived off except where
machinery /Equipment asked for are exempted by Industries Department of the state/
National Small Industries (NSIC) New Delhi.

The rates should be quoted clearly both in words & figures, without any cutting/
correction /erasing/overwriting. No such rates wherein any cutting/Erasing/overwriting is
/are found will be considered for comparison.
Rates shall remain valid for a period of one year between 01-09-2012 to 31-08-2013
In case of any doubt, dispute, difference, question arising between Tenderer & Tendering
authority regarding incorporation of any of the terms & conditions of the NIT or any other
matter related to right & responsibility of the parties, the same shall be referred to Director
Technical Education J&K for arbitration. His decision in the matter shall be final,
conclusive, & binding upon the parties.
The Bids/Tenders should be sent either under sealed registered cover or deposited in the
office of undersigned i.e Principal Industrial Training Institute, Budgam Jammu &
Kashmir State on or before 09-08-2012 up to 4.00 PM against proper receipt on the
working days only .In case last day being a holiday the same shall be accepted on next
working day at 10 am the tenders will be opened on on 11-08-2012 at 10 am
Tenderers who download from our official website shall have to append with Rs 500/= as
cost of tender document at the time of deposit in shape of Bank draft in the name of
Principal Industrial Training Institute Budgam.
The tender must be complete in all respects. All the terms & conditions of tender
including Technical specifications should be carefully studied for the sake of complete &
comprehensive offer.
In case the successful bidder fails to execute the supply of ordered equipment in full.
Penalty @ 2% (Two percent) of the total cost of order shall be imposed upon him /them.
In case the ordered equipment is not supplied within the stipulated time, penalty will be
imposed upon the defaulter & contract terminated.
At the time of procurement, if DGS&D rates are available for any of the item the
Undersigned reserves the exclusive right to procure the same on the rate contract &
exclude the item from the tender. In that case no tenderer has any claim whatsoever over
the said item.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or part thereof
without assigning any reason.

The payment will be released after proper inspection /verification of the equipment &
its satisfactory report by the verification committee.
