Notice to International Students:
Although elements of the Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program are international in scope,
most components focus on the financial reporting and tax regulations in Canada. Prospective applicants
should be aware that admission to the MPAcc program requires successful completion of the
abovementioned undergraduate courses at a recognized Canadian institution. Study of these subjects
in another country does not fulfill this requirement as accounting and tax standards vary
significantly from one country to the next.
International applicants must submit GMAT (minimum 600) and TOEFL (minimum 80 iBT with no less
than 20 in each skill area) scores before admission will be considered. If an international applicant has a
degree from a Canadian university this requirement will be waived.

TUITION, FEES AND COST OF LIVING
Current program tuition fees of $15,000 include the cost of computer and printing accounts and some other
course materials, but do not include textbooks or additional graduate student fees (approximately $15 per
summer). One-half of the tuition is payable each summer. There are no graduate scholarships or university
financial aid available to MPAcc students. However, many accounting firms support their employees
financially in this program. International students in Canada on a Student Authorization will be assessed a
$200 fee annually. Please check the following webpage for the most up-to-date information on MPAcc
tuition: http://students.usask.ca/current/paying/tuition.php. Note that the MPAcc program is considered a
program with special tuition rate by the University of Saskatchewan.
