 When an adjective is needed, they use an Anatomical word.
eg:
 Disease of the liver (hepatic disease)
 The pancreas have no ordinary name
 Pancreata
 Bowel = intestine (doctors use both of them)
 Small intestine= small bowel
 Large intestine= large bowel
The chest
 Respiration
 Airways
Larynx, trachea (windpipe), right and left bronchus, bronchioles
 Lungs
Left lung divided into 2 lobes
Right lung into three lobes
 Heart
The chest separated from the abdomen by the diaphragm
