My Plate & Food Analysis
1. Go to www.choosemyplate.gov
2. Click on “Super Tracker” (Bottom Blue box)
a. Click on “Create Profile”
i. Enter needed information, click submit.
ii. Remember your username/password!
b. Click on “My Coach Center”
i. Fill out your “My Personal Pyramid” sheet.
3. From here go to “Track Food & Activity” at the top of the page; click on
the drop down option “Food Tracker”
a. Enter in food eaten for day 1
i. Enter your foods/quantities as closely as you can. Some foods
may not appear and you may have to find the closest thing.
ii. Copy daily graph and daily limits graph to your graph paper
using color.
b. Repeat for day 2.
4. Answer “Food Log Analysis” questions using your graphs
5. Complete/Turn-in the following: (Staple in this order)
a. Food log – 10 pts
b. My Personal Plate – 2 pts
c. Food graphs (2 – 1 for each day) – 10 pts
d. Food log analysis questions – 12 pts
Total Points = 34
