In order to develop a global perspective one must have command of the basic social science vocabulary. On
the following page, you find vocabulary words categorized by social science.
 Your task is to create a Global Glossary, which will provide you early exposure to terminology we will
use throughout the course.
For each word in the Global Studies Glossary, you must complete the
following:
 List the Vocabulary term
 Categorize the term by social science
 Define the term in your own words
 Create an Illustration (drawing) of the term
 Application to Global Studies: Use your textbook to make
logical predictions as to where we will see these vocabulary
terms in action.
