Position Purpose
To provide operational and strategic management to a continuously developing residential AOD treatment service. To provide
leadership and development to a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
 Post graduate qualifications or equivalent in health and welfare services and either qualifications or significant experience in
the AOD sector
 Significant management experience (qualifications in management desirable)

Delivery of service is in line with evidence based practice
and the Territorial AOD Strategy.
An evidence based therapeutic model of treatment is in
use, based on the Community Integration Model
Mission objectives and mission values of The Salvation
Army are delivered
Clients are offered access to spiritual support.
Effective linkages to Salvation Army Corps and other
services are developed and utilised.
Clinical risk is assessed and managed appropriately












Staff are adequately trained and provide opportunities for

adequately staffed program with a strategy for succession

and all financial reporting requirements for Salvocare
Eastern are met.
