Please submit the KU Leuven Odysseus application form of your
declaration of intent at the latest
June, 10th 2015 (5 pm) by mail to Veerle.Bruggeman@doc.kuleuven.be
(each part as a separate pdf (A-D)).
After the internal procedure, the research coordination will inform you about the result
beginning of July. If positive, a full proposal has to be submitted at FWO (deadline
September, 30th 2015). This application form is a shortened version of the full proposal
; the questions in this declaration of intent are based on those requested by FWO in the
full proposal.

d) Information on fellowships, prizes, special awards given in recognition of your scientific
achievement

B4. Personal statement
The personal statement is your opportunity to bring forward your personal motivation to apply for
this Odysseus grant at KU Leuven, your (research) interests, your experiences and activities and
future goals. The personal statement should focus on your personal background or experience that
have significantly influenced you or your goals. It should be a document that describes your
abilities, skills and accomplishments as evidence of your aspirations for pursuing your career in
research. Use up to 3000 characters.

Mention research collaborations, larger projects, programs and international networks in
which your research can be situated. Use up to 1800 characters.
