100 Book Challenge Program
•Independent reading – strengthens skills…
•School Goal: 16 lines per week
•1-2 each school day + 1-2 each night = at least
30 minutes of independent reading per day
•Sign each night at home and mark “IC” lines in
class
•After 15 minutes “on level,” students
can read additional materials and still record
lines. They should be choosing their books
(within our limitations).
•Read together at home. Read aloud
to kids. Have conversations about
books! Ask questions!
