1. Minutes of the October 23rd, 2013 meeting were approved as written.

Chairperson.
ii. Treasurer: Jan Williams was voted upon and approved as the 2014 Treasurer
iii. Secretary: Mandy Reber was voted upon and approved as the 2014 Secretary.
5. Comments from Members:
a. Marty again mentioned a speaker that talked in Rochester about Meth, and stated
students have enjoyed her as well
b. YSB is taking nominations for the Steven L. Bailey Memorial Award thru November 20,
2013
c. YSB’s annual Chrismas/Open House will take place December 18th from 11-1pm, lunch
provided
d. The Boys & Girls Club has training dollars available for community members to attend
Prevention ATOD trainings across the state, please contact Mandy if interested to see if
dollars can be utilized.
e. Jerry reported Lifesprings received $10,000 for their counseling program from the
Huntington Medical Society.
f. YSB received funding from EcoLab to bring back Terry Hall to reach all middle and high
school students
The next meeting will be January 27th at noon at YSB. Lunch will be provided by Elaine
Willour from Huntington North.
