Semester 1 Vocab Final Review Project
On the back of this paper is a list of root words that we covered this semester. Using this list, you will create 3 new words. To do this, put the root together with
at least one other word to make an entirely original word. For example—if dict means say, and sacro means holy, a sacrodict is a holy saying, perhaps something
from the Bible. OR…you may attach one of the root words to something you are already familiar with. For each of the words you create you will do the
following:





Write the word
Give the part of speech
Define the word (your definition should be in keeping with the meaning of the root words)
Use the word in a sentence
Illustrate the word (should use color)
Feel free to be creative with this. See how many root words you can fit into each of your new words. You will turn your final work in on write printer paper that
I will provide. Each word should be placed on a separate sheet of paper. You will have class time today and tomorrow to finish this.
