Literacy
This week in Literacy we will be continuing to practise our speaking and listening
skills in the rehearsals for our production of Out Of This World.
At home:
 Please help your child to practise their lines and to know to listen for the
previous line, signalling when they have to speak.
 Please read your child’s reading book with them, asking them questions about
the setting, the characters, how the author has written the story, what different
words mean and what they think will happen next.
 Don’t forget, you can read books with your child on the Bug Club website.

Topic
This week in our Topic lessons we are going to be thinking about whether life on
other planets really exists. We will be holding a debate in class to discuss this
question.
