The Louisiana Booklet
from Greg English
Oak Park Middle School
During the year my students put together a booklet on Louisiana. It is a
project that many teachers use. Our booklet is a 75+ page booklet. The
booklet will contain sections on the flags, government, food, politics,
buildings, and local color. I furnish the materials the students use for
research. Over the years I have put together folders of dittos of each item
requested, piece together the copy to be used, and much more due to
limited time in the Applied Tech lab and/or library. Below is a checklist of
what is required for our booklets. Add, subtract, or modify to meet your
students I have hyper-linked my work sheets to the items listed below.
needs. The booklet generally takes partial class time over a seven week
period.
