through out history such as their right to
equal employment and the right to vote.
Some of these rights that were denied
women have become rights with the 19th
Amendment, and the Civil Rights Act of
1964. Women’ struggle for those rights are
a key part of this country’s history. They
have been helped in there struggle for these
rights by groups, individuals and historical
events.
