4. Financial Details
4.1 In the table below please give the budget for the project, providing a
breakdown of the various costs to be covered by the CPEST/CBR grant on a
year by year basis. Costs may include the salaries of research assistants
and/or postdoctoral researchers, travel and subsistence, datasets, and
dissemination activities. Note that salary costs should include sums for
pension contributions, national insurance and inflation. Funding will not
normally be available to cover the salary of the principal investigator or coapplicants, nor for equipment. A 25% overhead on research costs, payable
to the CBR as the host institution, will be charged to the project. This should
be included in the budget as a separate cost item.
