Christmas in Hillcreek
It is time to celebrate Christmas in Hillcreek
Thursday December 18th
3pm Cookie Swap: The Ladies of Hillcreek (and any man who likes to bake)!
Bring 3 dozen of your favorite cookies. Two dozen for swapping, and one dozen
to be tasted and enjoyed.
6pm Festive Food Fair: Meat will be furnished. Bring your favorite festive side
dish or dessert. We do need to know if you plan to attend! We want to be
accurate with the money we spend. Be sure that there is enough, with a little to
spare. Roast pork loin and salmon are planned, freshly prepared – not canned or

Updates and Repairs
Mailboxes: We found out that the Post Office does not do the maintenance on
the mailboxes, so the metal poles have been fixed or replaced and painted. They
look wonderful.
Sprinklers: They have been turned off for the winter, so if you happen to see any
running please let us know. This will not only save on water but will keep our
area from freezing on the cold mornings. We have replaced the old box that
controls the entrance way with the new “smart” system, and will be replacing
the boxes that control the pond and clubhouse areas in the near future. This will
also save us money when we have them turned back on in the spring.
Pool: After 20+ years, some well deserved maintenance is being done on the
pool this week. We will also be posing the new rules and regulations that will be
enforced when the pool opens back up in the spring.
From the board
Annual Homeowners Meeting: Will be Thursday January 22, 2015 at
7:30pm. We will be electing four new members to the board. The
nomination position on the board is vacant, so by our CallingPost
phone system and by newsletter, we will be looking for any Hillcreek
homeowner who might be willing to serve on the board. If you are
interested or would like to nominate someone, please notify our
President Kathie Davis at 706-495-3300 or place your letter inside
the clubhouse, down the side hall, in the “drop-box” going to the
locked area.
If you have any questions about what the board does, when they
meet, how often, ect, feel free to call Kathie or talk to one of the
other board members.
We have a wonderful hidden treasure of a neighborhood here at
Hillcreek, and it takes all of us, as homeowners, to keep it that way.

we have funds to do repairs
rather than asking everyone to
