Job Description
 As part of the Contract Manufacturing Team, the Co-Pack Manager is
accountable for selection, relationship management, and ongoing performance
management of a diverse group of contract manufacturers
 This person will prospect, initiate, engage, maintain and develop contract
manufacturing relationships to ensure that Company-wide quality and financial
targets are met, while simultaneously mitigating risk
 Participate in the negotiation of supplier contracts, design follow-up practices
to monitor performance, and measure realized savings
 Constantly seek to optimize production in an effort to drive out costs and
improve quality
 Facilitates communication between the contract manufacturer and various
internal departments at Manitoba Harvest
 Ensures that all contract manufacturing engagements are conducted to the
highest ethical, quality, safety and production standards and are in compliance
with Manitoba Harvest’s certifications, core values and vision statement

Qualifications
 Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, Operations
Management or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
 Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a planning or manufacturing
environment
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office
 Preference will be given to candidates with detailed knowledge of
MPS/MRP/DRP planning methods and APICS terminology as well as
APICS/CPIM certification
