Annual Reports
Description
Find profiles of more than 50,000 public and private
companies. Each profile may include company
description, historical profile, competitors, financials,
industry information, and biographies of executives.
Information about a company in structured company
profiles that include company news, management,
financial information, patents, trademarks, SEC filings
and company information. Includes profiles of nearly
35 million companies worldwide and information on
1,000 industries. With Dossier you can create and
download a comparison chart with as many as five
companies listed in a U.S. stock exchange. To view
analyst reports, click on “References” in the left
column, and find the section “Research & Analyst
Reports.”
EDGAR, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and
Retrieval system, performs automated collection,
validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of
submissions by companies and others who are required
by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC).
A free site that provides links to company annual reports.
The reports focus on current status of the company and
provides the official company “story” for direction and

A listing of securities commissions equivalent to the
U.S. SEC
The US Government is the world’s largest publisher so
finding needed data and statistics is difficult. This source
gives you statistics and sources for all kinds of information
about business, society, people and more. Just browse
the Sectors on the main page. Once you find data that is
related to what you seek, look at the source – it could be
a government agency or trade association. Next go to
that organization’s website to take your research a step
further.
Contains information for approximately 460,000
international and U.S. national, regional, state, and local
nonprofit and trade organizations in all fields..
Find books on a relevant topic. Vanderbilt collects a
variety of monographs on public policy concerns, and the
intersection of technology and society.
Information on grantmakers and their grants. Database of
foundations, corporate giving programs, grantmaking
public charities, sponsoring companies, recently awarded
grants, and recently filed IRS Forms 990 and 990-PF.
See descriptions in the Market/Demand section. These
databases provide excellent reports in regards to
consumer behavior and demand in a variety of topics.

OneSource includes information on 80,000+
international companies and their executives as well
as 350,000+ U.S. and Canadian public and private
companies and their executives. Company data
includes financials, subsidiaries, trade and business
news, and analyst reports.
Business & Industry is a broad business information
database that focuses on facts, figures, events and
market information about companies, industries,
products and markets. It covers all industries and is
international in scope.
Mintel offers market research reports focused on the
consumer in the U.S., U.K., European, and some Asian
markets. They cover a variety of sectors such as:
consumer goods, personal finances, technology and
electronics, retail, food service, and health. This
database is key for learning about the consumer – so if
what you have is a consumer product, this is the best
place to go. It will tell you all about the market, who the
consumer is, what their behavior is, all kinds of statistics
about that product or service which will help you know
how to market it.
Locate detailed company, industry, and country profiles
published by Datamonitor Market Research. This
database includes 10,000 reports on public and private
companies, both U.S. and international. Reports feature:
business description, history, major products and
services, locations and subsidiaries, top competitors,
SWOT analysis (top 1,000 companies only).
Locate market research reports on a variety of
technologies as well as consumer products.
Location
IT data and analysis, including research briefs, trends,
opportunities, company analyses and products. This is
an excellent resource for trends and forecasting on
topics related to IT.

International coverage of over 3800 journals in the fields
