Arrest Warrant
In order to obtain an arrest warrant and a blood sample from the suspect, you need
another piece of evidence that links one of your suspects to the crime scene.
Unfortunately, all of the CLC staff are not being cooperative and won’t comment on their
whereabouts the night of the thefts, so you’ll need forensic evidence to link them to the
scene of the crime.
Start by analyzing any hair samples and pens procured from your search warrants. You
may also obtain pens and hair samples from the victims of the crimes (at least they are
cooperating for the case in which they are not a suspect). Record your results below.
Once you have solid evidence against one of your suspects, apply for an arrest warrant.

Use a microscope to compare the suspects’ and victim’s hair to any hair found at the
scene of the crime.

Arrest Warrant
Hopefully, you now have enough evidence to firmly establish that one of your suspects
was at the scene of the crime the night of the crime. (If not, return to your original
evidence and review it for anything that you may have missed.) Use this evidence to
apply for an arrest warrant below. For the arrest warrant, include who you believe to be
the culprit, where they can be located, and what evidence you have that links them to the
scene of the crime. You need at least two solid pieces of evidence to obtain your arrest
warrant.

*If granted this arrest warrant, make sure to read the suspect his or her Miranda Rights:

Then bring the suspect to the judge to determine bail.
