INTRODUCTION

For my project I took
quotes from different
Shakespeare plays
and sonnets and,
using the topic of love,
made a found poem
out of it.
Plays used:
 Romeo and Juliet
 A Midsummer Night’s
Dream
 Love’s Labour's Lost
 Hamlet
 Sonnet 88

“Is love a tender thing?”
“ Love is a smoke raised
with the fume of sighs;
Being purged, a fire
sparkling in lover’s
eyes…”
“ Love looks not with the
eyes, but with the mind.”
“Things base and vile
folding no quantity love
can transpose to form
and dignity…”
“Form’d by the eye and
therefore, like the eye,
full of strange shapes,
of habits and forms…”
“But I never doubt I
love”
“Such is my love to
thee I so belong. That
for thy right myself
will hear all wrong.”
“This is the very
ecstasy of love…”
