relationship with your student
* This relationship is different from a high school
guidance counselor

* What are the advantages of developing a
professional relationship with a faculty member?
* How should your student communicate with
his/her professor?

* Faculty guides and faculty-in-residence
* 10 faculty guides and 7 faculty-in-residence
* Create programming that bridges hall
residences with academics
* Program goals:
* Make faculty more approachable
* Show students how to engage with faculty
* Demonstrate the value of extracurricular
learning

* Tutors help students with writing projects –
grammar, style, structure, transition, etc., during
pre-arranged appointments
* Will also help with group work

assignments?

* Each student receives 10 free hours of tutoring
