Options Evening
2015
Programme:
Explanation of the Options Process
Career Choices at KS4
Mr Pilgrim, Deputy Headteacher
Mrs Knowles, Careers Advisor
Mrs Haig, Headteacher
The message to the students:

It is important that you think things through carefully –
don’t rush

Some of you will have clear ideas about what you want
to do

Some of you will be less clear – that’s fine

Get as much information as you can

Talk to as many people as you can
The message to the parents:

Discuss with the students why they are
opting for a particular subject

Ultimately, it is the student’s choice and
they have to make the decisions and stick
with them
