The IHSN Question Bank (QBank), maintained by a network
of international agencies, provides a central repository of
international questionnaires, interviewer instructions,
classifications, concepts and indicators. The QBank
application provides comprehensive and readily usable
metadata that can be easily exported for the design of data
collection instruments.

There is a community of practice in the region
and experiences with key agencies already
taking place. These should be leveraged for
greater effectivity.
• DDI work with Armenia, Belarus and Russian
• SDMX work with OECD and ROSSTAT
• BRICS work in developing a portal
• Promotion of standards in the region and
Introduction of tools (best practices)
19
• Does the EEC use source data (for quality reviews) i.e.
microdata or administrative data?
• Is the Question Bank applicable to the EEC work in light of:
No. 23,24, 26 …50/51?
• Does DDI support to member countries seem apporpriate
(workshops) and developing archives?
• Does the OECD.stat system have applications as a
dissemination tool using SDMX (see: No. 11/12, 58, 69) ?
• Do sessions using Tableau address issues such as point 57?
• Is there scope to develop an NSDS Data Module for No. 24
(Socio-demographic), 51 (coordination)

technologies at the country level to improve
data collection and reporting?
• Does a review of the Data Visualization tools
help in the process of defining tools and
approaches?
