ASSIGNMENT 2
MIS 204 – Business Data Management
SEMESTER- 361 (2015)
In this assignment you are required to use your model (the result of Assignment 1) to start
the process of database implementation by following these steps:
1. Find a unique name for your database!
2. Check your model to see if there is any opportunity to improve your model.
3. Implement your model by using Oracle (SQL Developer).
Requirements:
 Create an Oracle connection with an appropriate name and password for your database.
 All your database tables with dummy data (at least 5 rows for each table). Do not forget
to add any needed constraints.
 At least 5 indexes.
 Ten queries .Queries should be useful, and answer important questions (according to
your database goals). Queries should be diversified.
Notes:
 All the students in the group should work together (don’t distribute tasks )
 Deadline on Tuesday week 15.
 -1 mark for each day of delay
 Submit your assignment as a hard copy + a soft copy through the email (word document).
 Your assignment should:
- Contains the final version of your ERD.
- Contains the username and the password of your connections (and in which lab!)
- Contains a clear explanation of each: table, index, and query.
- Contains all the SQL statements that you have used.
- Contains screenshot for each table (with its date) and for each query result.
- The data dictionary for each table.
