Project Mission
Campus Portal aims to be the hub of online campus resources, providing
prospective students, students, faculty, staff and alumni with a single-sign
on solution for the varied services, information and modes communication
available to constituents. Campus portal will be a highly responsive system,
continuously responsible to and improved by user feedback. Campus portal
will be seen as an innovator in inclusive digital access to campus resources,
and a model for other higher education institutions.
Practical examples of our strategy at work…
•
•
•
•
•
•
Apply Agile software development methodology
Create partnerships with campus groups as early as feasible
Build student (and other constituent) feedback loop and provide
clear and manageable expectations
Identify those who are responsible, accountable, consulted and
informed of all project activities and communicate regularly
Develop baseline measurements for campus digital inclusion,
then create metrics to gauge success.
Assist in creating a culture of excitement and inclusion in the
user base
