Famous “Psychos” Brochure/Pamphlet
Purpose:
The purpose of this assignment is twofold: first - to familiarize ourselves with the key
individuals of psychology, and second - to reveal the impact and influence of them.
Also, the purpose of this activity is to design (using Microsoft publisher, page maker, etc.) an
informational brochure/pamphlet to explain the following
What you need to cover
1.
Brief history/ biography
2.
Education
3.
School of Psychology to which he/she belongs
a. What psychological approach are they associated with – give reason
4.
Major impact of his/her work in the field of psychology
5.
Types of research methods utilized in his/her experiments
6.
Practical applications of the research (meaning)
7.
Major publications
8.
Comparison with one other famous psychologists
Directions:
1. Your brochure must be "electronic." You can use any program you like
2. Brochure/pamphlet will have 6 columns (3 on each side)
a. The first column will contain your title page
i. Name of your “psycho”
ii. Your name
iii. Period
iv. Due date
3. Must have a brief timeline of your “psychos” life
4. Use appropriate pictures to illustrate the aspects of your ‘psycho” (minimum of 4)
a. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRAW THE PICTURES
5. All information must be typed
6. Information should be on all sides of the brochure/pamphlet
7. Bibliography (at least 5 resources)
a. MAKE SURE YOU USE APA FORMAT
