The Delhi Development Authority invites sealed quotation the work mentioned below. The
quotations should reach the Office of the Secretary of Netaji Subhash Sports Complex, by 3 PM on 28
Feb 2015.The sealed quotation will be opened on the same day at 3.30 P.M. in the office of the Secretary
of the Complex. The Quotationers or their authorized representatives may be present at the time of the
opening of the sealed quotations.
Earnest money deposited in the form of pay order/demand Draft of any nationalized bank
approved by Reserve Bank of India drawn in favour of “Netaji Subhash Sports Complex, Jasola” to be
submitted with quotation. Any quotation which is not accompanied by Earnest Money in the prescribed
manner shall be rejected summarily and not accounted for at all.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means
including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of
Engineer - in- charge.
Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).

Regrading terracing of mud phaska covered with tiles or brick, in
cement by dismantling tiles or bricks, removing mud plaster, preparing
the surface of mud phaska to proper slope, relaying mud plaster gobri
leaping and tiles or bricks, grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3
fine sand),
including replacing unserviceable tiles or bricks with new ones and
disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground (the cost of
the new tiles or brick excluded) within 50 metres lead.
Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the
surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground
within 50 metres lead.
Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5
sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape,
raking outjoints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls
complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within
50 metres

Making khurras 45x45 cm with average minimum thickness of 5 cm
cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone
aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) over P.V.C. sheet 1 m x1 m x 400
micron, finished with 12 mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse
sand) and a coat of neat cement, rounding the edges and making and
finishing the outlet complete.
Providing gola 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of
mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by
applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound
consisting of applying: a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry
of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement
compound @ 0.253 kg/
sqm. b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is
still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10
cm. c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @
1.289 kg/ sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670
kg/sqm and
coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4
hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will
be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in
parapet all around. d) fourth and final layer of brick tiling with cement
mortar (which will be paid for separately. For the purpose of
measurement the entire treated surface will be measured.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable,
dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including
loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping
ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial
lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

General Terms and Conditions: The work shall be carried out as per CPWD specification vol – I to VI.
2. No T & P shall be issued.
3. Any loss / damage / theft caused during the execution of work shall be the responsibility of the
agency and the Delhi Development Authority shall be entitled to recover the amount from the agency.
All payments to the agency shall be made through cheque only.

The agency must have three years experience in similar nature of work and should be registered with Service
Tax Department. (Copies of same would be enclosed with the quotation)
5. Validity of quotation is 60 days from the date of the opening of the sealed quotations.
6. No extra payment shall be made on a/c of octroi, cartage etc.
7. The quoted / accepted rates shall be inclusive of all taxes / levies etc. and nothing extra shall be
payable.
8. The work shall be completed within 10 days.
9. The tenderer /quotationer should be registered with the Department of Trade & Taxes, Govt. of
GNCTD and suppose to furnish a copy of VAT registration at the time of making the request for issue
of tender or to attach the same along with the quotation as the case may be. In case the quotationer /
tenderer is registered with the VAT department, he may give an undertaking stating therein the
registration no., date of registration, period for which return has been filed, date of filing and the
demand outstanding, if any, and liable to pay the same. In case, the quotationer / tenderer is not
registered with the VAT Department, then he will require to submit an undertaking in the specified
Proforma (available with Cashier / NSSC).
10. The Debarred agency/ or individual shall not be permitted to participate in the tendering process.
11. Any individual who has been debarred is not permitted to take part in any negotiations or represent
any agency even if he holds the power of attorney on the agencies behalf. Any agency engaging
debarred persons is also liable to debarring.
12. The experience of agencies will be taken into account rather than individuals incorporated with the
agencies, which does not include proprietorship.
13. No advance payment will be made to the agency.
14. The payment will be made only on completion of work and satisfaction of engineer in charge &
Secretary NSSC.
15. Any lapse on the part of the agency, the Commissioner (Sports) can take such action as he may deem
appropriate and the decision of the Commissioner (Sports) in that behalf shall be final and binding
upon the quotationers / agency and shall not be called in question before any forum.
16. Any conditional quotations shall be summarily rejected.
17. If there are two or more agencies quoted the same preference would be given to the agency which is
already serving subject to its satisfactory performance. If even then there is a tie between two or more
such agencies than the work would be awarded to the agency which has highest gross annual turnover
for the last three consecutive financial years.
18. The quotation received through courier cannot be entertained.
19. That the quoted rates should invariably be written both in figures and words, failing which the
quotation shall be liable for rejected.
