Tender specification SPACELITE® HTU-S 40
Fabrication, supply and installation of a sectional door with thermally insulated and light transmitting
door panels and an electro-mechanic spring-less direct drive, specified as follows. Doors with torsion
springs or tension springs are not allowed in this tender.
Product quality and features of the doors have to be tested and certified in accordance
with DIN EN 13241-1. The door meets following minimum requirements:
Air permeability (EN 12426): Class 3.
Resistance to wind load (EN12424): Class 5
Resistance to water penetration (EN 12425): Class 3
Option: Burglar resistance (DIN EN 1627): Resistance class WK3
Option: Resistance to wind load (EN12424): Class 5 with possible operation open/close at wind
speeds up to wind force 12
Option: Opening speed up to max. 1.5 m/s, closing speed up to max. 0.5 m/s
Note: Maximum values depend on the door dimensions and door equipment.
Guide mechanism: Aluminium tracks, solid, blank (option: RAL colour coated or anodised according
to DIN 17611), detachable track covers. Drive-unit side: With cable duct (plastic, RAL 7035 light grey),
option: Automatic operation with cable guide; galvanised steel rails (standard: 90°-deflection,
options: Rails guided along the roof, vertical lifting door).
Galvanized steel cassettes with aluminium drive tube, right-hand-side drive (option: left-hand-side).
Door panels made of twin-wall fibreglass design type 40. Colour shade »Brilliant« (option: »EmeraldGreen«, »Sapphire-Blue«). Light transmission (depending on colour and thermal insulation): Up to
78%. Thermal transmittance value of the twin-walled fiberglass panels: Up=2.5 W/m²K. Option: 1.7
W/m²K or 1.4 W/m²K. Aluminium profiles, rubber seals, side profiles and guide rollers are included.
Note! Due to the laws of physics, twin-walled fibreglass panels are not diffusion-proof.
Option Door panels with panorama glazing: Transparent double-glazing made of SAN (thickness 2.5
mm), up to three vertical transoms may be installed depending on the door width. Option Door
panels with panorama glazing for burglar resistance in class WK3: Transparent double-glazing made
of polycarbonate (thickness 3 mm), up to three vertical transoms may be installed depending on the
door width.
Dimensions of the door panel: Depth: 40 mm; Height: approx. 250 mm.
Electric drive: three-phase current motor (3x230/ 3x400V, 50 Hz), motor power between 0.85 and
2.5 kW, depending on door size and equipment with electronic limit switch, protection class IP 65.
Opening speed (without frequency converter): approx. 25 cm/s.
Option: Opening speed up to 150 cm/s with frequency converter.
Option for burglar resistance in class WK3: Opening speed up to 100 cm/s.
Closing speed: max. 25 cm/s. Option: max. 50 cm/s. Doors with other speeds are available upon
request.
Drive mechanism via belt strap, incl. belt-strap monitoring. Direct door connection, without torsion
springs or tension springs.
Version of 15.04.2015 – Subject to technical alterations
Emergency operation mechanically via handle, optional via hoist chain.
Microprocessor control: Control system, protection class IP 54 (option: IP 65). Operating buttons and
the main switch are located on the housing front. The housing is attached to the door track, typically
at operation height. Standard: Opening in self-holding circuit/closing in dead-man‘s mode. Option
automatic operation: door can be opened and closed in self-holding circuit. Connection clamps to
connect additional items such as sensors, signal indicators or safety accessories.
Option: special control with customer specific applications.
Option Safety edge control: Safety edge control for doors operating in self-holding circuit (option)
via an opto-electronical sensor in accordance with the latest regulations for power-operated
windows, doors and gates. Connection wireless or by an energy chain integrated in the guide
mechanism.
Door sealing: rubber seals between the individual door panels, between tracks and door panels with
brush- and rubber profiles, towards lintel and reveal with rubber seal lips, towards the floor with a
rubber-profile.
Fixed with solid, galvanised adjustable mounting brackets which are screwed to the tracks.
Owner’s Manual according to the German regulations for power-operated windows, doors and gates
including technical data, operating manual, »Inspection for power-operated doors«, circuit diagrams
for initial start-up, inspection results, spare parts list, to be handed over after installation.
Note! According to the standards VDE 0100-610 and IEC 60364-6-61 respectively, the door operator
has to make sure that the obligatory door inspection is performed regularly.
Delivery to the site and a professional installation must be supplied. (For installation and connection
of additional items an additional cost may be charged. The electrical mains connection must be
provided by client.
