As our Stated Meetings are conducted in the Master Mason’s degree, members of lower degree are not permitted inside during the meeting proper. However, new Brethren are welcome to join us for dinner and our program. Dinner generally starts between 7:45 and 8:00 P.M.; please let the Stewards know if you plan to attend. Remember that tie and jacket are required in the Temple.
Bro. Erik W. Krogstad will do a presentation on “The Sacred Geometry of
Freemasonry”. He will talk about the power of the jewels, what the stations represent, and other Masonic symbolism.

This month, by order of the Worshipful Master, there will be TWO Extra Meetings of
St. John’s Lodge No. 115, Free and Accepted Masons, for the purpose of conferring degrees.
These meetings will be held in Oriental Hall, Masonic Temple, One North Broad Street,
Philadelphia, Pa. 19107-2598. The first Extra Meeting will be held on Monday evening,
April 20, 2015 at 7:30 o’clock P.M., dinner at 6:30 P.M.

Brethren,
Our March Stated Meeting was priceless! Our new District Deputy Grand Master,
Bro. Joseph Jensen, visited and gave St. John’s rave reviews. He told us that he was not used to coming into a lodge as full as ours. We had a number of visitors also, one of whom was a
Past Grand Marshal from Delaware who enjoyed his visit.
I am honored and proud of the Brethren of this Lodge and you should be too because we are a team, and without you and your participation we would not be where we are today.
Thanks to Brother Jose Morales for an exceptional presentation that was so good he was invited to go to another lodge to present there as well.
Finally, I would like to thank and give kudos to all of the elected and appointed officers that have done an excellent job so far this year. Our ritual work at the Stated
Meeting is sharp and crisp, and the Degree Work at the Extra Meeting is excellent.
Everyone is doing a great job.
So let’s not stop here or rest on our laurels. We can always make a good lodge better. In this vein, I want to remind you that dues are collected at the end of each year for the following year, so please pay your dues if you haven’t already, or we will be forced to suspend you. Mail your check, bring cash or go to the website.
