Part 1 Executive Summary
Neueda are delighted to have the opportunity to respond to the G-Cloud 4 Request for
Proposals (RFP).
Based on the requirements outlined in the RFP and the factors summarised below we
are pleased to propose the Neueda On Demand Specialist Cloud Services:

Expertise: We bring a winning combination of technical expertise and experience
across the project lifecycle from strategy definition & business analysis through
design and implementation to user-acceptance testing and business go-live.

Experience:
o Our practical experience in resource based services across multiple
sectors.
o Our 10+ years of experience in providing consultants to augment existing
teams for clients such as Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development (DARDNI), NI Water, Belfast Metropolitan College, ESB,
BGÉ, NIE and Energia.

Skills & Knowledge Transfer: Neueda recognises that the use of external
consultancy support presents an opportunity for clients to develop their own internal
staff and we work to ensure that a skills-transfer component is built into all
engagements whenever appropriate.

Value for Money: Neueda have sought to offer a range and blend of competitive
rates to support the requirements of G-Cloud 4. We are also willing to engage in
dialogue and consider negotiating rates specific to individual engagements of a
significant duration.

Neueda is an international consultancy and training specialist with expertise in

senior consultants and technical Subject Matter Experts, each with an average of 15

Our senior consultants have extensive experience across a variety of business
domains including Utilities, Finance, Public Sector and Telecommunications. We have
been involved in a variety of engagement sizes over the last eight years ranging from
small projects with short term individual engagements to extremely large scale projects
such as the Northern Ireland Electricity & Viridian Enduring Solution project which
involved at one stage more than 15 Neueda consultants over a period of 36 months.
Our organisation is divided into two separate divisions; Consultancy Services and
Training. Our consultancy services cover the spectrum of IT services including Project
Management, Business Analysis, Infrastructure Management, Development and
Testing. Our Training division assists our clients in implementing best practice across
the key phases of development e.g. analysis, design, build and test.

We provide courses at the introductory level right through to more technical and
sophisticated seminars and workshops. We can tailor our courses to your

Information Assurance
As a specialist Cloud Service provider, the Neueda services are not covered by
Business Impact Level (BIL) accreditation. .
According to the specific requirements or clients or individual project engagements
Neueda will ensure the deployment of specialist resources with the appropriate security
clearance.

Backup and Disaster Recovery
This is not applicable for the Specialist Cloud Services offered by Neueda.

Service Constraints
There are no service constraints regarding the provision of the Specialist Cloud
Services offered by Neueda. The standard terms and conditions cover the use of
substitute resource should that be necessary.

This is not applicable for the Specialist Cloud Services offered by Neueda.

Financial Recompense
This is not applicable for the Specialist Cloud Services offered by Neueda.

3.10 Training
Neueda recognises that the use of external consultancy support presents an
opportunity for clients to develop their own internal staff and we work to ensure that a
skills-transfer component is built into all engagements whenever appropriate.
3.11 Ordering and Invoicing Process
The ordering process is via agreement through an initial review of individual client or
project requirements and an agreement of the resources and services to be procured.
Invoicing is typically on a monthly basis, billed on the agreed consumption of resource
or services.
3.12 Termination Terms
Termination is covered in our standard terms and conditions.
A Contract may be terminated by either party giving the other written notice of the
Notice Period specified in the Schedule.
Variation to our standard terms may be negotiated.
3.13 Data Restoration / Service Migration
This is not applicable for the Specialist Cloud Services offered by Neueda.
3.14 Consumer Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Client (consumer) will be agreed and formalised during the
service procurement process.
Typically the nature of these responsibilities include logistical responsibilities such as
the provision of office accommodation, access to appropriate systems or the availability
of staff or information key to the delivery of the Specialist Cloud Service.
3.15 Technical Requirements
This is not applicable for the Specialist Cloud Services offered by Neueda.
3.16 Trial Service
Neueda understand and place significant focus on the importance of building strong
relationships and mutual trust with our clients from the onset of any new engagement.
To support this ambition we work with and offer new clients on a try and buy basis, an
initial discovery phase (typically 10 – 20 days) which allows all parties and stakeholders
to get to know the Neueda organisation and resources while also facilitating initial
requirements validation and planning. In our experience this approach is invaluable for
our new clients allowing them to make a more informed and tangible assessment of our
capability to deliver against a specific requirement.
Neueda would only seek recovery of the cost of this initial phase if the engagement
proceeds.
