-Performs structural inspections of buildings, roofs, roads, etc. on a predetermined schedule and
maintains a priority list at all times. The same applies to tanks, structural steel and equipment regarding
painting needs.
-Attends certification seminars for handling of hazardous material (i.e., asbestos, lead paint removal,
etc.) and works with the EHS Department to insure that contractors meet all regulatory requirements on
these subject matters.
-Experience in facilities maintenance (i.e. building repairs, roof repairs/replacement)
-Develop capital investment proposals and manage all detailed design and construction of approved
capital projects with the objective of meeting technical, cost, reliability, and safety goals.
-Coordinate project implementation with maintenance outages where needed.
-Coordinate and review vendor equipment, installation and other discipline drawings for operability,
reliability and maintainability input.
-Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear
fashion.
-Communicate with general mill operations, maintenance, upper management and other project
stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
-Manage projects that require coordination between all parties involved including outside consultants,
contractors and mill personnel.
-Prepare bid requests from vendors, engineering consultants, contractors and other outside
organizations as needed.
-Evaluate bids and recommend selection of equipment, contractors or consultants.
-Supervise installation, check out and start-up of projects.
-Initiate purchase requisitions for engineering, equipment, labor, materials, etc for assigned projects.
-Plan, schedule and track project timelines, cost and milestones using MS Project.
-Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
-Schedule tracking of construction and project spending forecasts on a monthly basis.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED - BA/BS degree - Mechanical or Aerospace / Aviation Engineering
- 4+ yrs experience in AEROSPACE CARGO HANDLING / INTERIORS HARDWARE or SYSTEMS
ENGINEERING role such as customer support engineering, design engineering, or equivalent….providing
TECHNICAL SUPPORT and PROBLEM SOLVING
- Experience in component and system level TROUBLESHOOTING, ROOT CAUSE investigations, FAULT
TREE analysis, and RISK analysis methods
- Experience investigating airline cargo handling or related SYSTEM PROBLEM REPORTS. Experience
identifying system and component issues and escalate to Engineering to drive timely resolution.
- Able to conduct MAINTENANCE training for airline and maintenance shop personnel.
- First shift… but must be able to work off hours and holidays as required by business and customer
needs. Occasional domestic or foreign travel may be required for field incident investigations, system
training and safety
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills (internal and external
customers).

WHAT YOU’LL DO –
Sr. Service Engineer required for our Aerospace Cargo facility. This role will have the following
responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and problem solving for Interiors cargo handling systems.
- Investigate airline cargo handling system problem reports. Identify system and component issues and
escalate to Cargo Systems Engineering to drive timely resolution.
- Support technical problem analysis (relentless root cause identification and implementation of
corrective actions).
- Create product service documentation (eg Service Bulletins, Service Information Letters).
- Conduct maintenance training for airline and maintenance shop personnel.

- Gather and report component reliability data.
- Provide warranty claim support by investigating claims.
- Support airline account manager and sales teams.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining productive relationships with OEM Field Service
Engineering groups in order to effectively collaborate in accordance with contractual requirements and
protocols.
- Provide engineering support to the global network of service centers (global Maintenance, Repair and
Overhaul (MRO) centers).
- Act as a key safety advocate for Interiors Cargo Handling Systems business.
