About AP Human Geography
• Learn about the systematic study of patterns
that have shaped human life and alterations of
the Earth.
• Learn how to interpret and use maps, data
sets, geographic models, aerial photographs,
and satellite images.
AP Human Geography
• This course is designed to emphasize critical
reading and writing skills. Each chapter
includes essays and various class activities or
projects. Students will be analyzing images
and documents to reflect a variety of spatial
concepts. Each chapter will culminate in an
assessment written in the AP format.
