Dean Foods is one of the nation’s leading processor and distributor of Egg, Meat and other dairy products or major
producer of specialty food products. This Project involved in creating a Data Warehouse for sales reporting system. The
stock is distributed from four centrally located warehouses after purchasing from different vendors. The company has
operational system for purchase, sales & Distribution, Finance, stock maintenance, Vendor management & customer
management. Data from disparate database used by these operational systems will be extracted periodically into the
Data Warehouse database. Data from ODS was extracted, transformed and loaded into data warehouse Using
DataStage.
Responsibilities:




Created mappings using Data Stage Designer from source to Staging and Staging to Data Warehouse.
Used Stages like Transformer, Look Up, Pivot, Aggregator, Sort, Copy and etc.
Created Reusable Transformations using Shared Container.
