 Greek Root Word of the Day
• Mon or Mono – one, single, or alone
 Word of the Day
• monosyllabic – having one syllable
• How many words can you brainstorm that have the root word “mono” in them and they have something to do with one, single , or alone?

 You now have a district email account through google apps; therefore, you may create your own login. However, I have an account for all my students already:
• Login: loganj@sesd.k12.pa.us
• Password: Mrlogan

 List your birth year
 List your interests
• Brainstorm superlatives that relate to your interests
• Use the internet to discover what were the superlatives in your hobbies the year that you were born
• Capture images relating to these superlative individuals where possible
• Take note of any interesting details

 Use prezi or animoto to create a presentation showcasing your findings
 Limit your presentation to less than 2 minutes

 Turn on computer
 Click “add user” at the bottom of the opening screen
 When the prompt asks for your email, it is asking for your google apps ID.
• Type in your app id but add the following string immediately behind it: “@sesdrams.org”

 When you type a paper for Mr. Logan’s Class:
• Font : Times New Roman
• Size : 12 point
• Margin: 1” top, left, bottom, left
• Spacing : double
• Color: black or blue

 For hand-written assignments:
• Blue or black ink
• No rips
• No crinkles
• No cross-outs
• You may use white out and white out strips to fix an error

 Your first slide must have:
1. Name
2. Year of birth
3. Picture or graphic
 All other slides should include:
1. Superlative
2. Photo of superlative
3. You may include a photo of you enjoying the topic too--- like riding a horse or playing an instrument or being on stage, etc…
