Origins of Buddhism

Most historians believe that Buddhism originated in northern India in the 5th
century B.C.E. Prince Siddhartha Gautha began a search for enlightment when he
was 29 years old. Buddhism was founded in 520Bc.these days Buddhism is the
4th largest religion.
Belief system
Today Buddhists have a lot of beliefs and run by a lot of beliefs. Buddhists
believe in Carmi, that you should take your shoes of.when you enter a room. Did
you know that the Buddhists can go to the temple when ever they want. The
main thing that Buddhists follow is that you should not drink alcohol or take
drugs.
Who practices it today?
Today lots of people practice it and it is most practices in east Asia and south
east Asia and some parts of south Asia. The people that mostly practice it today
are Chinese that band Burmese. Many people practice Buddhism today and
around 1.2 to 1.6 billion people throughout the world. Buddhism is practiced
around the whole world except Antarctica
