IBTP Overview – Test Platform
Test Platform Benefits
• Allows you to create computer-based tests by adding your
own items and/or by selecting items from the Item Bank
• Allows you to add computer-enhanced items, similar to (but
not the same as) FSA, enabling your students to get more
practice and be more comfortable with FSA CBT testing
• Allows you to administer, monitor, score, and view data for
computer-based tests
• Allows you to also administer paper-based tests.

IBTP Overview – Test Platform
Test Platform Benefits (continued)
• All items except open response are automatically graded
• Data analysis empowers teachers to easily see which
standards need more attention
• Allows you to print test booklets, as long as computerenhanced items are not included on the test
• Allows classroom teachers, schools, and district staff to view
and create reports

Broward Standards Assessment
Broward District is using this test platform to provide all schools with
the Broward Standards Assessment (BSA), formerly BAFS, in January.
• Any BSA test that corresponds to an ELA or Math FSA test that will
be given on the computer will be given via computer on this test
platform. The BSA tests that will be administered via computer
are:
• ELA Grades 4-10
• Math Grades 5-8
• Paper accommodated students will be given a corresponding
paper-based test.
BSA TEST ADMINISTRATION TRAINING

Broward Standards Assessment
The BSA Tests that correspond with the paper-based FSA tests
will be administered via paper for BSA. Teachers will print BSA
test answer sheets. Students will use these answer sheets along
with the professionally printed test booklets that will be
provided by the Student Assessment & Research Dept. (SAR).
The completed answer sheets will be sent to SAR for scanning.
The following tests will be administered via paper for BSA:
• ELA Grade 3
• Math Grade 3 and 4
• All tests for paper-accommodated students
