FAMILY PIE MAKERS LAUNCH CHRISTMAS RANGE
A family of Yorkshire pie makers has baked a little taste of home into its Christmas range
where top ingredients and cracking family recipes are the secret behind The Topping Pie
Company’s success.
The humble pork pie is just as traditional at Christmas buffets as turkey and all the trimmings
and continues to be a firm favourite on the seasonal party top table. The Yorkshire bakery
has launched a tasty range of handcrafted festive pies and quiche which are now available
to buy online www.toppingspies.co.uk.
From its Dinky family of 120g party pork pies topped with cheese, chutney or cranberries to
traditional cutting pies (120g – 2.2kg) and from speciality game and poultry products (450g –
2.2kg) to family, friends and party pie bundles, the Toppings bakery has something for every
festive celebration.
Dinky Mature Stilton Topped pork pies are made with a layer of prime British Red Tractor
pork meat topped with mature crumbled stilton cheese and are available 120g and 190g.
The Dinky Cranberry Topped pork pie is made with sweet cranberry jelly and fresh
cranberries and the Dinky Normandy Chutney Topped pork pie is made with sweet apricot
and sultana chutney.
Dinky Caramelised red onion topped pork pie is made with sweet and tangy caramelised red
onion chutney. All available 120g.
Two Dinky party quiches complete the new range, offering Mature Cheddar and Onion 110g
and traditional Quiche Lorraine 110g . Gala Pork Pies are also available, alongside large
catering size quiche (1.3kg).
Three varieties of the Dinky Topped pies are now available boxed in 240g packs of two RRP
£2.99, including Cranberry Topped; Pickle and Mature Cheddar and Mature Stilton – all
made with hot water crust pastry.
A speciality Christmas Pork Pie has been introduced and is made with a base layer of British
Red Tractor pork meat sandwiched with a layer of chicken breast, diced apricots and
cranberries and finished with a final tier of pork meat. Available 450g boxed.
The Small Game & Poultry Pork pie features a mixed assortment of seasonal game laced
with cranberries - a layer of pork meat with a homemade family chicken liver pate recipe.
Available 450g boxed. The Small Apricot and Poultry Pork pie features layers of pork,
chicken and turkey topped with apricot stuffing and dressed with apricot halves. Available
450g,1.1kg, 2.7kg.
The Pate and Cranberry Pork Pie (430g boxed) sits alongside traditional cutting pies and is
ideal for Christmas party buffets and festive feasts.
Collections of pork pies are now available for a family party, buffet or seasonal celebration
with friends.
Family Collection - For festive family get-togethers the Family Bundle offers Dinky
Cranberry Topped pork pies, made with sweet cranberry jelly and fresh cranberries and the
