Interactive Timeline Project
1. Research the history of the Internet on the list of
websites provided.
2. Add a minimum of 3 events to the interactive timeline
for your class period:
Go to www.timetoast.com
Login
Username – Maynard
Password – Maynard
Select the Internet History timeline for your class period

Select the edit timeline link
Click on the Add Event Button
Then, add your
1. Event title
2. Date
3. Description of event – INCLUDING YOUR NAME
4. Upload a saved image related to the event - see next page
5. Click the Create Event button

To upload an image:
1. Find an image that relates to your event on the internet
2. Right click on the image
3. Choose Save Picture As
4. While editing your event, click on the Choose an Image
Button
5. Click on the Upload an Image button
6. Browse to the folder where you saved your picture and click
open
7. Select your image
8. Click the Done button

Internet History Project
Using the resources provided as well as the
interactive timeline we created as a class,
choose one of the following options:
1.Create a 9 slide PowerPoint about
internet history, must have at least 1
picture on each slide and 2-3 bulleted
statements per slide
2.Create a 2 page creative handout/flyer in
Microsoft Word with at least 9 pictures
and 18 terms/dates with definitions and
details

Create an image that showcases important events from the history
of Internet Marketing.
Go to www.wordle.net
Click on create
1. Type in text of various important events in internet marketing
history
2. Type your name at least 3 times, so that is appears as large
text in your wordle
3. Types the text internet marketing at least 5 times, so that is
will appear as large text in your wordle
4. Click go
5. Play with the RANDOMIZE button
