We reviewed your website. Overall, you’re doing the right things:





Responsive website structure
Sitemap and robots.txt inclusion
Full text sitemap
Has a nice mom and pop feeling
Effective internal links
You may want to consider the following recommendations:

Give the website a facelift with a fresh, new design. Having an updated design can increase your
conversion rates, improve your SEO optimization and make it more appealing to your users.

Drive traffic to your website and add an edge of competitiveness when you complete a keyword
research process. The keywords are used to optimize all of your top web pages and paid ads. It
shows other insights, such as where to build landing pages. Using the same word over and over
limits the type of audience you serve. For example: a shoe (is also a sneaker, boot, sandal, etc.).

You can optimize the Home Page it by styling a clear pathway for the eye. It should follow a
sequenced thought process and focus on your page goals.

Consider implementing showcase page(s) to highlight business focus areas. When introducing
products on an ecommerce site the web pages should be consistent in style. Too many images
or images with movement can take away from the message in the content. A more minimal
approach would boost your sales.

Add more content throughout the website. Currently, search engines are more focused on
providing the best website content overall to searchers. It’s all about providing well-written,
organized, useful, relevant, social-ready content for web site users.


Re-write the title and Meta descriptions for each web page. The title and Meta description tag
work together in catching the eye of the visitor (in the browser).


The title tag is the title of the web page. It should include branding and a call of action.
The Meta description is meant to be a short and accurate summary of your page content.
Properly written, you will increase the number of clicks to your website and raise your
ranking.

When running a report, we found some broken links that gave access Web pages that are no
longer available. A great solution is to re-direct the page to an existing or a new landing page.

Move all the inline JavaScript into a separate JS file. Like the separate CSS file, a separate JS file
will pull the functionality away from the content, making it easier for the spider engines to
access the page content. Example:

Remove the inline styles and consolidate into style sheet(s). An inline CSS property is added by
using the style attribute for a specific tag. By mixing content with presentation code, you might
lose some advantages of the style sheets. Moving all the inline CSS rules into a separate style
sheet will make your page "lighter" in weight and will decrease the code to text ratio. This will
make maintenance and future website updates easier in the future, as well as being spider
engine friendly. Example:
