December Silent Game Day4th
Students will be able to play games
Friday
silently. They get three strikes. Three
reminders to stop talking. If they do not,
they need to be given the writing
prompt:
What would you tell someone that
knows nothing about deafness and is
going to be in charge of helping a new
deaf student get used to MSHS?
Give SPECIF examples. I must be one
page in length.
ASL 2
Children of a Lesser GodThey will have the class period
to work on their write up on
the movie.
They have the rubric, and know
what is expected of them. Due
by Monday, at the end of class.

Project Packet
This project will be due Tuesday
December 15th at the end of class…. This
is to be done in class and not as HW.
I have reserved the computers in the
library for your use. The kids need to
come to class so you can take roll then
go to the computer lab.
If after the first day you may have them
meet you there.
Career ProjectToday they will begin their
project based on careers that
utilize ASL.
The hand out is already on the
table ready to go.
This is an in class project. The
only time they need to do
anything at home is print out
pictures for their poster
boards.
I will have materials in the
cabinet for them to use. It is all
for them. They are a very
independent group.
The projects that are the most
visually appealing will be
laminated and displayed in the
classroom.
Please remind them that this
ASL 3
AudismStudents will be finishing up
their Audisim Project. They
need to have it turned in
before I return on the 14th.
Students will begin reading the
novel

The books are already checked
out to the kids and they are on
the board with their names
written above them.
Handouts are on the table for
them to pick up.
For A Deaf SonPlease have a student get on
the computer and turn on the
youtube video FOR A DEAF
SON, it will be a feature length
documentary.

Small Group ShareStudents need to get into
group of 4ish, no 2 people in
the group may have the same
career chosen. They then must
share what they learned. Each
student needs to share for
about 2-3 min.
When they are all finished they
may work on their reading and
questions.
