Delta Hotel, Quebec City
CANADIAN CHAPTER-CHAPITRE CANADIEN OF THE UHMS
The Canadian Chapter of the UHMS is pleased to invite you to its 5 th annual scientific meeting. The meeting will take
place at the Delta Hotel in the beautiful Old Quebec City from Friday October 17th to Sunday October 19th, 2014.
Our program for this scientific meeting is of the most interesting. On the Friday evening, there will be a cocktail
reception and tour of the brand new state-of-the art hyperbaric facility and wound care complex at Hôtel-Dieu de
Lévis. Inaugurated in June 2013, this hyperbaric facility is now the largest one in Canada with its triple-lock multiplace
chamber. Saturday lectures will focus on hyperbaric medicine and also wound care. Sunday will be dedicated to
diving medicine with an emphasis on diving safety. We are proud to have world-renowned speakers from all across
Canada, USA and overseas to offer you the best continuing medical education in hyperbaric and diving medicine.
And most of all, take the opportunity to discover more than 400 years of history in the cradle of French civilization in
North America. Old Quebec City is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Treasure. The Old City is famous for its
European charm and well-preserved architectural treasures. The entire district, which is best explored on foot, is a
living history book, and every garden, building and street corner is its own chapter.
We were looking forward to seeing you in Quebec City.
The organizing committee,
Dr Dominique Buteau
Mr. Josh Boisvert, CHT
Dr Ron Linden
Dr Ken Ledez
