HTC Pre-Client Company Application
_____________________, (“Applicant”) hereby submit this application for Pre-Client, the special status
for companies from Chiba City. Submission of this Application to the HTC indicates acceptance of the
following terms by the Applicant.
HTC representatives will screen applications and select those that meet the criteria for further review.
HTC will schedule an initial meeting (including HTC staff/volunteers, as appropriate) to review and/or refer
the Applicant to other organizations that may be able to provide assistance.
If accepted as an HTC Pre-Client the Applicant shall pay, within two weeks of notice of acceptance by
HTC, $750. Pre-Client can receive up to 6 months of support following the initial meeting to prepare the
Applicant to become an HTC Client. As an HTC Pre-Client, Applicant may be asked to meet with HTC
staff/volunteers, make improvements in key areas, submit additional information, and/or present to the
HTC Screening Committee, a group of selected advisors to HTC.
If over the course of the six month (maximum) period, the Applicant satisfies all of the applicant processes
(including approval by an HTC Development Manager, presentation to the Screening Committee, no
objections from the HTC Board), Applicant may be invited to become an HTC Client, subject to the
attached Client and Warrant Agreements. The Applicant has to start establishing a formal presence in
Houston. HTC can approve the Applicant to stay in HTC as a Pre-Client for reasonable period while they
prepare.
Applicant agrees as follows:
Acceptance of your Application does not guarantee admittance as an HTC Pre-Client. Applicant’s
eligibility to become an HTC Pre-Client shall be determined by HTC in its sole discretion. Further, HTC
has no obligation to admit Applicant as a Pre-Client.
HTC reserves the right to request additional information during the application process. HTC cannot
execute non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements. HTC may request additional fees to provide
assistance during the application process. HTC reserves the right to discontinue the application process
at any time.
HTC shall have no liability with respect to the application process. Applicant agrees to indemnify HTC
and its representatives against any potential claims that might arise from the application process or the
assistance provided by the HTC and/or its representatives.
