Birthway International is proud to represent two wonderful companies whose goals are to provide
the best maternity care in Florida. Those companies are: A Birth Center and Venetian Isle Medical.
With either of these companies, you will receive sensitive, comprehensive, and personalized care for the
duration of your pregnancy by a highly skilled obstetrical team. Venetian Isle Medical serves the needs
of mothers who choose to deliver in a hospital setting with our physician and A Birth Center provides a
home like setting where births are attended by a licensed midwife and her team.
An orientation consultation to meet the practitioner will be scheduled for your questions and
concerns to be discussed. In addition, a tour of the Birth Center and scheduling of the free childbirth
classes will be included. The $100.00 fee for the time spent with our physician is waived if a contract
for care is signed. There is no fee to meet the midwife. We hope that you will choose to join our team of
professionals after this important meeting. Future appointments are scheduled for hospital birth at 954456-4888 and Birth Center Birth with Kseniia at 954-456-4682. English, Spanish, French Russian and
Farsi are spoken and interpreters are available.
Our Services Include:
*Unlimited access to the Doctor (for the Venetian Isle Medical clients) or Midwife (for the Birth Center
clients) with scheduled visits, including 1 breast feeding support Visit. Additional Breast feeding visits
$50.00 each
*A Birth Center birth includes Midwife, birth attendants and recovery and the initial newborn
examination.
*Childbirth Classes held on Monday evenings. Classes are 2 hours long for 6 weeks. Call Kseniia at
954-456-4682 to schedule your classes. Classes held in Russian language held on request.
*Board Certified OB/GYN physician at hospital birth.
*Birth Center Clients receive their first two visits after delivery in their home. Two additional
postpartum visits are held at the Center/office.
A Birth Center allows videotaping of the family and birth, if desired. In addition, A Birth Center has
Skype/Internet access to share your birth with relatives at home or abroad. Recovery in A Birth Center
includes a postpartum observation period until mother and baby are stable, 4 hours is the minimum stay.
A complete newborn health examination is completed prior to discharge. Administration of vitamin K
and the treatment for the infant’s eyes is included. Documents are prepared and given to the parents for
the first Pediatrician visit. Birth Certificate is filed electronically.
A Birth Center Prices
$4499.00 Package if the fee is paid in one payment (excluding those who have paid a $500 “invitation
fee” that is applied to the total package) This is a 10% savings for those who are not on any payment
plan.
$4749.00 Package for those who pay their fee in two payments. This is a 5% savings on our usual
package
$4999.00 Package for those who need to pay their fee in 3 or more payments.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY 32 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY.

All Packages includes complete lab analysis as listed below, one ultrasound if medically necessary and
your OB/GYN physician consult and, if needed including continuing collaborative care.
Our price at first glance may seem more than our competitors, but it includes the following services that
are NOT INCLUDED at other birth centers:
1. Consults with the OB/GYN will be scheduled by your Midwife should you need it during your care.
Usual fee for this service is $200 per visit if you were seeing another physician.
2. In case of a transfer/transport to the hospital, guaranteed backup at the closest hospital without
additional OB physician or CNM fee. This could be a potential savings for you of over
$3000.00!

$3999.00 which includes Lab analysis, and one ultrasound if medically necessary.
Dr. Tannaz Adib, MD, Cares for all clients planning a hospital birth. When she is not available, Dr. W.
DiGiacomo cover the practice.

*Mother should bring maternity pads and diapers for infant.
*Snacks and beverages for the mom in labor and for family members.
*Music the mother will enjoy
*Skype access available, you will need to bring your computer. A password will be given to you.
*You must decide who will be in the birth room and let the midwife know. It is
recommended that the majority of family remain home since Skype visiting is available.
Memorial Hospital births do not permit videotaping and may censor the camera pictures that are taken.
In addition, the number of friends/family allowed into the birth is limited. Skype/Internet is not
available.

Services not included:
*Additional OB Ultrasounds, done by appointment at the office of Dr. DiGiacomo, cost $100.00 each.
*Metabolic Screening Tests (required by the state) $30.00 in advance of the birth
*Nitrous Oxide Patient Controlled Analgesia (gas/air inhalation) $250.00 if paid for prior to labor
$350.00 if requested during labor.
* Document translation. All medical documents must be translated to English. If you do not have
prenatal records in English, the translation fee is $100.00.
*For our Russian clients, an interpreter is required for A Birth Center births. We recommend the

The prices contained in this contract represent a “package price” if you do not complete your care
with either Venetian Isles Medical Consultants or A Birth Center you will be charged the
usual customary rates for prenatal care, lab and other prenatal testing.

If you leave Birth Center care for a hospital birth with Venetian Isles Medical Consultants for any
reason your fees will remain the same.
If you leave Birth Center or Venetian Isles Medical Consultants for a non-medical reason before
delivery you will be charged the following customary rates for prenatal care: $250.00 for your
first visit, $150 for any further visits, and all lab and diagnostic testing at our usual self pay
prices (will be less than charges originating from Lab Corp or Quest Diagnostic Labs.) These
fees will be deducted from previously paid fees, the rest of pre-paid fees will be reimbursed
within 14 days of leaving care.
If you leave Birth Center or Venetian Isles Medical Consultants for a non-medical reason after 36 weeks
of pregnancy there will be or choose a birth with another practitioner, there will be NO
reimbursement.
