2015-16 California Presenters Next Gen
All California Leadership Diversity Program
Does your group or organization put on performances, concerts, festivals or performing arts events featuring
professional artists other than your own? If so, you are a presenter! Are you new to the presenting field, feel
isolated in your community or just want to learn more about booking, marketing, development, strategic
planning and getting audiences in the door? We are here to help! California Presenters is a statewide
coalition of presenters throughout California whose members have many years of experience and want to
share it with the next generation!
California Presenters (CP) is offering a year-long, intensive one-on-one Next Gen All California Leadership Diversity
Program designed to develop the professional capacity of emerging leaders in the presenting field who are working in
underserved communities and/or ethnically-specific presenting organizations. This program assists the next
generation of arts presenters in developing skills necessary to succeed as leaders in the field, pairing promising
applicants with well-respected, senior California Presenters members who have demonstrated a personal commitment
to advancing the professional development of new and emerging arts leaders. Deadline to apply is April 10, 2015.
NOTE: The Next Gen All California Leadership Diversity Program is open to applicants who are NOT
current California Presenters members. CP Members are invited to apply to the CP Mentorship Program.
