Intro Activity: Introduction to Time Management Concept (20 Minutes)
Time Management Survey
Materials: Paper
Writing Instrument
Poster Board/White Board
Marker/White Board Marker
Calculator (Optional)
Directions: List the following survey items under Template A on the board for students to respond to on loose-leaf
paper. Using Template B on poster board/white board have students calculate as an entire homeroom the number
of minutes/total number of hours used for each survey item. Discuss positives and negatives about time
consumption, you can use Template C as a model for comparison or create your own.
Note: Purposefully leave out homework from this list, but feel free to add more items to the survey upon your
discretion. If a student does not partake of an activity, they may enter zero for their response to the item.
