MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
November 4, 2013

The Secretary’s report for October was amended to read Ted O will contact Powers Oil to clean the
oil burners.
The Treasurer’s report showed the Total Income amount transferred in from Savings, Total
Expenses amount and the checkbook balance. A motion was made to file for future audit.
The Financial Secretary turned in money. Membership renewals for 2014 consisted of 19 regular,
4 spousal, 12 retired and 4 life members being a total of 39 members, 17 Indoor Range Cards were
purchased. This is 53 members less than last year at this time. There were 10 new members, 2 new
spousal and 1 retired member for a total of 13 members for the month of October with 0 range cards
purchased. The total membership for 2013 is 548. A motion was made to file for future audit.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Clay Bird – Turned in money for 172-member and 4 non-member rounds. 4 – 12 gauge boxes of
ammo were sold. A load of clay targets has been ordered. A better price deal was obtained with a
2% discount and 20 free cases for COD.
Pistol – All is well. The South Shore Pistol League has started. There was full metal jacketed ammo
boxes found in the trash in the indoor range.
Rifle – All is well.
Land Sale – There is some interest with information sent no responses.
Building & Grounds – Kevin obtained the dense-base for the roads and will try to grade and roll the
roads. The material to rebuild the targets was obtained. A plywood wall between the road and the
skeet fields needs to be rebuilt with a height of 12 feet.
Safety – The Committee will meet this month regarding the rules.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Frank will pick up the new snow blower.

2. E-mails addresses for mailings are being worked on.
3. Powers Oil came to check burners at main club. The boiler was plugged solid. An air problem
was causing the plug-up.
4. Dane - Tech will come to review the problem with the gate reader computer and quote a price
for installing an additional reader.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. The following 12 people applied for membership: James P, Thomas M Jr., James B, Alan C,
Val P and Natalya K, Donald B, Christopher R. B, Paul G. F, Robert F, Jeff and Rose F. A
motion was made and carried to accept the new members as presented.
2. The work party expense report was turned in.
3. The Sunday Shooters Permit was submitted to the town.
4. The cost for seven, 8 f t. lighting fixtures with bulbs for the Pistol range was reported.
5. Bob Pratt, John Duarte and Bill Campbell are the Nominating Committee.
6. Ted O’s classes will be held December 3rd, 5th and 8th.
The meeting was adjourned on motion at 8:52 P.M.
