2015 PRE-DEPLOYMENT TRAINING AND IMMERSION PROGRAM FOR POLO PERSONNEL Module 1 – Relevant International and Philippine Laws and Policies (e-Learning Course) ADVISORY FOR THE PARTICIPANTS 1. Date and Venue. The above-mentioned training module will be accessible online starting on October 26, 2015. Participants are required to go to DOLE eLearning website, using this link: elearning.dole.gov.ph. They can use any desktop computers, laptops, and ipads with internet access. The online course may be taken at home or while still doing turn-overs and facilitating clearances in their respective offices. Also, the eLearning Facility of the Labor and Governance Learning Center (LGLC) will be open during office hours and will be able to accommodate thirteen (13) participants at a given time on a “first-come, first-served” basis. 2. Schedule. This is a 30-hour online course where participants are expected to learn through online-remote sessions which is asynchronous thus it will not require an all-day online access and can be done at own pace. Participants are required to log on these links: http://bit.ly/1MIbKfD for the registration form and fill-in the email address preferably with a Google Mail or gmail email account. Access of the class portal is at http://elearning.dole.gov.ph/eportal/ or at http://elearning.dole.gov.ph/, for all training/class resources, homeworks, remotediscussions and updates. NOTE: class will be open on October 26, 2015. Those who failed to register at the start of the class may still do so but not on the 2nd week of November 2015 (classroom training). However, late registrants must be responsible in catching-up with the past sessions. IMPORTANT: Registration is pre-requisite for enrollment to the online course.
